Lampposts
Then among crowds of celebrations in our shared home,
We wander through the guessing game:
How much of this and that here as we roam
Do I remember now by its first name?
And can I give him me in the story
Of that lamppost and this old, bent tree,
So that when he here next takes his inventory,
He'll wander on home to me?
